FaithCity Hospital is a private Hospital located in Ajao Estate and Victoria Island, whose mission is to make available quality health care and clinical excellence to our clients. Our team of well-trained doctors, nurses and paramedical staff are equipped with modern facilities to offer quality care in a personalized patient-friendly environment.

We have both in-house and visiting consultants that attend to the diverse needs of our patients. Our in-house laboratories are also available 24 hours a day.

History

Dr. Austin Ozemhoya Ebhomielen starts FaithCity Clinic in a three-bedroom apartment on Holy Savior’s college road, Isolo, Lagos.
Now a Hospital, FaithCity moves into a bigger building (three floors) along Ogundele Street, Isolo. By now more full-time doctors, nurses, other paramedicals, and part-time specialists join the rapidly growing practice.
FaithCity Hospital, corporate branch in Victoria Island opens on Oko-Awo Rd; a two-story building in a large compound, fully furnished with admission facilities (8-beds), laboratory, X-ray, ultrasound, etc. The Hospital enjoys patronage from the numerous bankers and corporate individuals working in the island.

FaithCity Hospital moves into its own building, the permanent Head Office, at its present mainland address in Ajao Estate. This 30-bed facility is proudly located on one of the high streets in Ajao Estate.

Dr. Austin Ozemhoya Ebhomielen (Chief Medical Director)
Dr. Austin Ebhomielen is the Medical Director of FaithCity Hospitals and has been from its inception in 1986. Through his dedication and visionary leadership, FaithCity Hospital has grown from a two-bed clinic at Holy Saviours College Road in Isolo to the 30-bed Hospital at Asa-Afariougun street Ajao Estate and the state of the art 15-bed corporate head office in the highbrow Victoria Island, Lagos.

He graduated from the College of Medicine, the University of Nigeria in 1982 where he received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree. Prior to starting FaithCity Hospital, he had worked with The Nigeria Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna and Military Hospital in Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria.

Dr. Austin Ebhomielen’s distinguishing operating principle over the years has been his ability to bring on board the finest team of in-house and visiting consultants and specialists. This is because of his belief that every patient should be given the best care there is Dr. Austin (as he is fondly called) has attended clinical courses and conferences including ultrasound scanning, Hospital Management, Hospital Project Financing and Equipment.

In recognition of his distinguished service, he was awarded a Fellow of the Association of General Practitioners (FAGP) by the AGPMPN/NMA. He belongs to several Professional Bodies including The Nigerian Medical Association, Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN/NMA), Healthcare Providers’ Association of Nigeria, and Life Member, Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI).

Dr Jane Nkechi Ebhomielen (Chief Operating Officer)
Dr Jane is the Deputy Medical Director and Chief Operating Officer of FaithCity Hospitals Ltd. She received her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from University of Nigeria in 1985. She also holds an MBA from Lagos Business School. Dr Jane’s visionary leadership and managerial expertise have helped shape the culture of excellence and patient- centered environment at FaithCity Hospital.

She did her Housemanship at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital in Enugu. For her National Youth Service Corps, she was the Doctor in charge at the Dass Cottage Hospital in Bauchi State.

She later worked with the Customs Clinic in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria and A-Z Medical Centre also in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. In 1987, she joined her husband, Dr. Austin Ebhomielen to run FaithCity Hospitals. Over the years she has attended several courses both in Nigeria and abroad including a Certificate course in Foetal Ultrasound at the Kings Collage Hospital London. Dr. Jane belongs to several professional bodies including The Nigerian Medical Association, Association of General Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN), Healthcare Providers Association of Nigeria
Mrs. Joy Egesi  (Chief Matron)

Mrs. Egesi is the Chief Matron in-charge of all the FaithCity Hospital branches. Since joining the Hospital, she has remained committed to the mission of FaithCity Hospital and today is recognized as one of the longest-serving staff of the organization.

Mrs. Joy Egesi had her nursing training at the Methodist Hospital Amachara Umuahia, in Abia State of Nigeria between 1983-1985, while her Midwifery training was at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idiaraba, Lagos, Nigeria between 1988 -1989.

A seasoned nurse, she worked with Women Medical Center, Victoria Island before joining FaithCity Hospitals in 1992.

She is happily married with four children.

Mr. Adeite Sunday. Adekoya (Head Account)

Mr. Adekoya is the Head Accountant for all FaithCity Hospitals. His varied and rich experience cuts across audit, financial and general administration. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Mr. Adekoya is an excellent and dedicated professional who has over 17 years of devoted service since he joined FaithCity Hospitals Ltd in August 2003.

He attended Yaba College of Technology where he graduated with HND Accountancy in 1990.

Prior to joining FaithCity Hospitals, he worked with Sulaimon & Co Chartered Accountants, Van Leer Nigerian Education Trust, Mokuolu Rueben’s & Co chartered Accountants Firm among others.

Dr. Chibuike Ejim (Head, O/G Dept)

Dr. Ejim is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS). He is the head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at FaithCity Hospital.

He graduated from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria in 1997 where he received his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery Degrees (MB, BS). Before joining FaithCity Hospitals in June 2009, Dr. Ejim previously worked in Federal Medical Centre Owerri, Oguta General Hospital Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria and Keana General Hospital, Nassarawa State, Nigeria.
