Dr. Austin Ozemhoya Ebhomielen (Chief Medical Director)


Dr. Austin Ebhomielen has been the Medical Director of FaithCity Hospitals from inception in 1986. He graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria in 1982. Prior to starting FaithCity Hospital, he had worked with The Nigeria Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna and Military Hospital in Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. Through his dedication and visionary leadership, FaithCity Hospital has grown from a two-bed clinic at Holy Saviours College Road in Isolo to the 30 bed Hospital at Asa-Afariougun street Ajao Estate and the state of the art 15 bed corporate head office in the highbrow Victoria Island, Lagos. Dr. Austin Ebhomielen's distinguishing operating principle over the years has been his ability to bring on board the finest team of in-house and visiting consultants and specialists. This is because of his belief that every patient should be given the best care there is. Dr. Austin (as he is fondly called) has attended clinical courses and conferences  both in Nigeria and abroad including ultrasound scanning, Hospital Management, Hospital Project Financing and Equipment. In recognition of his distinguished service, he was recently awarded a Fellow of the Association of General Practitioner (FAGP) by the AGPMPN/NMA. He belongs to several Professional Bodies including:

  1. The Nigerian Medical Association
  2. Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN/NMA)
  3. Healthcare Providers' Association of Nigeria
  4. Life Member, Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International (FGBMFI)

Dr. Austin`s insatiable quest for excellence has put FaithCity Hospitals in a constant mode of transformation in every department.

Dr. Jane Nkechi Ebhomielen (Deputy Medical Director/ Head of Operations)


Dr. Jane Ebhomielen graduated from the University of Nigeria College Of Medicine in 1985. Being among the best graduating students in her class, she had the automatic offer of placement for Housemanship at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital in Enugu. For her National Youth Service Corps, she was the Doctor in charge at the Dass Cottage Hopital in Bauchi State.

She later worked with the Customs Clinic in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria and A-Z Medical Centre also in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. In 1987, she joined her husband, Dr. Austin Ebhomielen to run FaithCity Hospitals. Over the years she has attended several courses both in Nigeria and abroad including a Certificate course in Foetal Ultrasound at the Kings Collage Hospital London. Dr. Jane belongs to several professional bodies including:

  1. The Nigerian Medical Association
  2. Association of General Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN)
  3. Healthcare Providers Association of Nigeria

A quintessential team player, compassionate physician and effortless manager, Dr. Jane is in charge of the Head Office branch in Ajao Estate.

Mrs. Joy Egesi  (Chief Matron)


Mrs. Joy Egesi had her nursing training at the Methodist Hospital Amachara Umuahia, in Abia State of Nigeria between 1983-1985, while her Midwifery training was at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idiaraba, Lagos, Nigeria between 1988 -1989.

A seasoned nurse, she worked with Women Medical Center, Victoria Island before joining FaithCity Hospitals in 1992. Within a short time of joining the Hospital, she was promoted to the position of Chief Matron in-charge of all the branches. Ever since then, she has remained loyal, faithful and committed to the FaithCity project and today parades several awards in the organization including the prestigious MD's award as one of the longest serving staff of the organization.

She is happily married with four children.

Mr. Adeite Sunday. Adekoya (Head Account)


Mr. A. S. Adekoya joined FaithCity Hospitals Ltd in August 2003. He attended Yaba College of Technology where he graduated with HND Accountancy in 1990. An excellent and dedicated professional who has remained ever loyal to the organization and today parades a long service award in recognition of his loyalty to the organization for over 11 years of devoted service in 2014.

He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. His varied and rich experience cuts across audit, financial and general administration. Prior to joining FaithCity Hospitals, he worked with Sulaimon & Co Chartered Accountants, Van Leer Nigerian Education Trust, Mokuolu Rueben’s & Co chartered Accountants Firm among others.

Dr. Chibuike Ejim (Head, O/G Dept)


Dr. Chibuike Ejim joined FaithCity Hospitals Ltd in June, 2009. He graduated from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria in 1997 where he bagged his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery Degrees (MB, BS). He is also a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS).

Before joining FaithCity Hospitals, Dr. Ejim has previously worked at Federal Medical Centre Owerri, Oguta General Hospital Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria and Keana General Hospital, Nassarawa State, Nigeria. He is presently working with FaithCity Hospital Ltd as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and he is the head of same department.
